Paramana
The word paramana is a Greek word. Consisting of the composite words "para" and "mana", meaning "next to mother". It has been used since ancient times until today (especially in Cyprus, where instead of the word nanny or babysitter, they use the term "paramana" referring to the assistant in the care of the child). In the past, it also had the meaning of "nurse", i.e. the woman who took on nursing the children of another mother, when she could not nurse them herself.

The logo is designed as a visual metaphor. The first letter “P” represents the Paramana figure, while the remaining letters symbolise the children gathered next to it. This structure reflects the meaning of the name—“next to mother”—and turns the wordmark into a storytelling element. Rounded forms and a warm color palette reinforce a sense of care, trust, and approachability.

The desktop website focuses on ease of use and clear information hierarchy. Search, filtering, and profile presentation were designed to help parents find suitable babysitters quickly while allowing babysitters to present their experience and qualifications clearly. The result is a calm, welcoming interface that balances functionality with emotional trust.
